Imperfectly Perfect Poem by Dave Dafes

Imperfectly Perfect

Rating: 5.0

In the quiet moments when the world is still,
I see your face, and my heart begins to fill.
With every flaw, with every little quirk,
You are my masterpiece, my life's finest work.

Imperfectly perfect, that's what you are,
A constellation of unique, shining stars.
Your laughter, a melody, slightly askew,
Is the song of my heart, beautifully true.

Your smile may be crooked, but it's purely divine,
Each imperfection a sign you're mine.
In your eyes, a story of battles won,
A journey through shadows to find the sun.

The way you stumble, the way you fall,
Is the dance I cherish, the rhythm of it all.
Your tears, your fears, your moments of doubt,
They make you real, of that there's no doubt.

Imperfectly perfect, in every way,
You turn the mundane into a magical day.
Your touch, though sometimes hesitant, still,
Sends shivers of love, gives me a thrill.

Your words may falter, your voice may break,
But in those cracks, a symphony you make.
For in every flaw, a beauty lies,
A truth unveiled, a sweet surprise.

In your imperfection, I find my peace,
A love that grows, that will never cease.
For you are my heaven, my safe place to fall,
Imperfectly perfect, my everything, my all.
