This is a classic example of what a poem should be. It's gentle flow leads the reader towards a question to ponder, leaving it's meaning stuck in the mind long after the page is turned.
This reminds me of old classic poets; especially those who were translated so that we could enjoy their words. I am hardwired to adore this style and this poem. It is perfection really, to me.
