Immortal Poem by Matt Starking

Immortal

Rating: 1.0

Immortality is not a thing to strive for,
It's a gift that's given to us, evermore.
For in our hearts, we all live on,
In the memories of those who are gone.

We may not live forever in the physical world,
But our souls will live eternally, unfurled.
For every moment we spend in life,
Will be remembered in the afterlife.

Though our bodies may one day die,
Our spirit will never be denied.
For our souls will live on and on,
In the hearts of those we have loved and gone.

So live your life with a passion and a fire,
For in eternity, you will never expire.
Your legacy will be remembered for all time,
Your immortality will be yours and mine.
