Immediately And After Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Immediately And After

Immediately And After

Your body shed snakeskins,
You are boy, before a man, before
Every part you were becoming dismantling you

A Wrinkled old ghosts
who sat with immobility,
Unless a house accepts you
Unless a porch sentence you looking at an invisible sky,

Desperate now to have glimpse of God,
an enstranged friend, you parted,
With a least fuss,

a potential forindependence,
Proud of yourself in the standing mirror,
A world congregations of young men with egos of omnipotence.

That before the marriage, before
The skin shedding.

You are looking now on this same mirror,

Overnight the transformation which was unbelievable

a cosmetis surgeon restored some parts of the shedding skin

As you cannot move arround tied up to a wheel chair,

As less describe yourself,
Articulalate feircely you are still the same person inside,
They would not take your word forthe bullshits,

When the last train sets a bus out to its backward journeys,
There were almost the shedding of skin simultaneously.

You are the record of missing person of time
The itinenary record of the lost someone
