devote significant
philosophical efforts
to explaining the
relationship
between immanence
and transcendence
but do so in
different ways, such as:
casting immanence
as a characteristic
of a transcendent God.

We can consult the teachings of established religions, but the answer to this riddle is unfinished businesses. How could the relation of transcendence and imminence ever be summed up in a handy formula? Interpenetration of spirit and matter is a process, composed of a multitude of events. What thread links them? A seeker will trace it as best he can, even into the mind of Creation.
