I really liked this one- it was literature not idle buffoonery. Life is getting shorter and I prefer to spend it with poems that have meat to them instead of idle silliness.
To many readers of English poetry, the name of Edward Lear is synonymous of Limerick form. Thoughts expressed here about time are worthy of a closer look and a deeper study. Thanks.
