I'm Not In Fine Poem by Nurul Hoque

I'm Not In Fine

Rating: 5.0

No, I am not well.
When you ask me how I am
I get lost in my inner self.
In life's midway, in the middle of the night
I go down alone in the alkali water.

Sans saying I am not well, it was rather right to say
I am fine, I am very fine, and
Playing hide-and-seek alone in the darkness of fading light.

In the darkness it spreads playfully
That bouquet of lies at every stride
I am not well, there is no light
There is tragedy, there is the weight of separation.
You are so quite well, carefree
Conquering the darkness and worldly sighs and lamentations.

Be well, the water-crested gentle breeze
Be well, the flower caught by exuberance
Be well, the essence of the flower
You are un-smelt in the heart and in the song you are impeccable.

Be well, the sweet and melodious art of poetry
Be well, the land of the riverine, fertile south.
