and what we used to be
how it was

there was no
her
no friday night cheating
there was no
saturday night
beating
there was no alcohol
and my tears
didn't fall
there was only
you and me
me and you
and how we always ended up
getting through
all the things
that we couldn't fix,
the whole day through there were no
swearing
no pushing up against walls
there was no screaming
as you slam your hand
upon my head
there were no screaming
for our kids
ears
there was just you and me
and remember
remember what you said a happy family
me and you
we were suppose to be together forever but you know
what
that dreams gone
just like i am
tonight im leaving
im taking the kids
