I'm A Rock Warrior. Poem by alex sarich

I'm A Rock Warrior.

I'm a sixty-year-old Rockstar
trying to make living
strumming my rusty old guitar
without it fucking giving.

Chorus
If I can break the chain
a Rock Warrior I'll remain
I've battled the years
going through the gears,
I'm a Rock Warrior
a music courier.

I drag myself from town to town
hunting lyrics for a song
dreaming of owning a rock crown
and reach out where I belong.

Repeat chorus.
