I'm A Lost Ship Poem by Tina Baaklini

I'm A Lost Ship

My love,

I'm a lost ship in the vast blue sea
Guided by the waves of fate
Towards your safe shore
My sweet tender soulmate

Your love lit the flame of hope in my heart:
'Hold on tight, the horizon looks bright
We'll live you and I in endless delight'
Whispers your heart to mine

The compass is my heart
The beacon is my soul
'Nothing can separate
What God has created'
Thinks my mind in rewind

I'm coming home to your tender heart
I'm coming home from the world of futility
To merge with the world of eternity
As a drop of water travels the river stream
To merge with the vast blue sea
