Illustrations Of Realities Poem by Bernedita Rosinha Pinto

Illustrations Of Realities

Sometimes brothers and sisters betray each other
sometimes parents and families overlook their children's blunders;
sometimes friends and neighbours unconcerned about each other
sometimes lovers and sweethearts unthankful for time spent together;
sometimes man and woman unrealistic about their conduct and origin
sometimes law and justice unkind to the innocent and ailing
sometimes society disrespectful to the status and eliteness of another;
sometimes mind itself so unforgiving to those who are ungrateful
sometimes heart itself so unwilling to endure falsity and deception
sometimes heaven indifferent to the soul that needs salvation
sometimes God Himself errs when He allots death to the undeserving,
sometimes the illustrations of realities so undeniable yet so changeable.
