If You Wish To Leave Me Poem by Namita Rani Panda

If You Wish To Leave Me

If you wish to leave me, leave with no regret,
Let me tell you the fact,
I'll never weep like a violent sea
Feeling utterly desperate,
With a sense of loss, I will never cry in fret
Or being lost in loneliness, I'll never wait.
If you wish to leave me, leave with no hesitation
The quality matters, not the quantity,
I'll never curse my fate,
I'll never say, 'Miss you dear',
How can I miss whom I do never forget?
If you wish to leave me leave without pretention,
I'm sure you will return with a fresh glow like the golden sun
I can manage in your absence with your warmth within
Preserved in my core like the fathomless ocean.
If you wish to leave me, leave with a light heart,
Like a barn swallow to quench my thirst
I'll not have to wait
I'm sure soon your annoyance will evaporate
And with your soothing shower I'll be drenched.
If you wish to leave me forever also, it doesn't matter
The fragrance may fly afar mingling in the air;
But it carries with it the name of the flower,
Spreads the glorious story of flower long after it withered.
