A poem is like one's own child, like one's flesh and blood, so dearand so delicate. It should not be held under search light to find any defects, but to be loved and adored. If you do not have something nice to say, please be quiet.

Very well-written! A poet loves his poem as a mother loves her child. To my poem list and full marks.!

Your poem's flight is moving upward and beautifully uprising with high quality of motion. A free bird sings with love. Lord Krishna gives his grace to all and to you too. This poem is nice! Hare Krishna!

One of the best poems I have read on poetry. A heartfelt write that captures how we feel for our poems. Every line of this poem is a pure poetic gem. So beautifully written

Thanks. This is what I wrote when my heart felt dominant and possessive about its child, the poem. Yet, when my mind dominates I am like a rational mother who wants her child to evolve and progress in life, and so would not mind some constructive feedback about the poem. A poet often undulates between these two far points.

'So pray, spare your critical dart, It has a delicate li'le heart.' - Yes, a delicate heart a poet has who aspires his creation to be read and appreciated, but his creative spark should not be crushed in the name of critical review.. 'When you choose my poem to read— Poem to me, to you a weed! '- -A poem is dear to its creator, it may not necessarily satisfy the critic.A critical review should be positive in its impact.

Thanks for such detailed comments. The poem might give an impression that as a poet I am against critical comments..., no, it is not such I am also against goodie-goodie please-all words. On this sight I think we have to guard against this, if you know what I mean.

Pray, tie it not down, nor torture/Nor analyses it part by part/Not of statistical nature/It's a piece of personal art—This wonderful expression directly touches my heart! A magnificent poem with fascinating expression sir! I may read this poem again and again so long as I exist here!

Long back a prof of English literature read my poem and gave his views, analyzing them a great deal and splitting them apart as to virtually kill them. And this poem came to my mind. Many thanks for the good words for the poem.

You write beautifully well and I like your style of writing. Your seeming effortless ease at creating verses with rhythmic splendour, is not only appropriate but also poetically remarkable.

Thank you for the good words, but I am not sure if my poems are appreciated by larger audience/readership which seem to be deep in modern poetry. I must thank you. Very few poets now like/appreciate this old style.

You seem to be a genius Aniruddha...I feel very happy to read your poems... 'It's a piece of personal art— Product of heart more than of head, A bird free to sing her fond song That can be right, nor ever wrong, '....content of every poem is just felt first in a spark of inspiration and then out of passion put in words...II totally agree with your view about the feed back too...greatly enjoyed

Thanks, dear poet, I take your feedback as coming from heart. Though one can't say the same thing for all, if only because PH would not allow any thing other than appreciation, and encouraging the budding poets. A good objective. But where does that lead the quality of the poems? Well, I have my views on good poetry and I don't let modernity too much dissuade me.

A poet feels good if his poem is appreciated repeatedly. Yet, he would also want that his new poems too are read and commented on. Thanks Dr Swain.
