Jemarie, the hope of finding that love, no matter what it brings with it as long as the 'one' is there to share it, is a romantic sentiment, and one I've lived by. I love also how the narrator also imagines that there is someone waiting for her and is searching for her. It's being in love with the idea of being in love lol... and everybody does it.
