If Walls Could Talk Comments

When we build walls around us, we believe that it is going to be a fortification from all intruders and enemies. But unfortunately they become barriers, that in the end they suffocate us and we pine for society and friendship! A very pertinent thought with an exhortation to crush down all walls of separation! ! Greatly enjoyed! !

This poem seems eerily familiar. Perhaps in another life I found it? I love poems about walls, they are such important factors in life: they keep our loved ones enclosed with us, and they help to keep evil and bad influences out. Good job.

A deep subject of poetry indeed, it recalls to mind Mending Walls by Robert Frost: Something there is that doesn't love a wall, That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it, And spills the upper boulders in the sun, ..... We keep the wall between us as we go.
