**if The Moon Could Speak** Poem by Putri Misnia Shary Bahri

**if The Moon Could Speak**

Rating: 5.0

If the moon could speak, it would whisper
my plight a witness to love, now shrouded in night
Once the stars danced in joy, their laughter unfurled
But shadows have fallen, love's light now swirled
Your promises linger like echoes in air
Yet happiness, fleeting, has vanished with care
In silence I wander, through memories fraught
Sleepless, I ponder the trust that you sought.

With each pulse of the night, my heart aches anew
For the warmth of your gaze has been twisted askew
What once bloomed like roses now withers in vain
Betrayed by the joy that once washed away pain
If the moon could sigh, it would mourn what we lost
The dreams we once cherished now bear a cold cost
Yet still in the darkness, where heartache may lay
Hope flickers like starlight, refusing to sway.
