If Only You Could Grasp
If only you could grasp the truth
Of the benevolent nature of God
How deep His love for lost mankind
Which is relatively misunderstood
And know the magnitude of sin
And the course of it's direction
You'd gladly repent and in faith believe
In the Lord Jesus our Resurrection
For permeating our nature
Sin has its unsettling place
And keeps us fast in bondage
Until we are saved by grace
In the inner workings of our spirit
We know we are lost and undone
And it is only by the grace of God
That we can be drawn unto His Son
Yes there's a battle raging
For your soul is of highest price
There's nothing to give in exchange for it
But for itthere was a sacrifice
For for the lover of our soul
For our deliverance to the Cross was held fast
Most important this truth in the whole wide world
If only you could grasp!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
