If Man Were Little More Man Poem by Arun Maji

If Man Were Little More Man

Rating: 5.0

If man were little more brave
He would not die
With pain of repentance tearing his heart.

If man were little more daring
He would not be torn within, by watching
his dream woman walking the street
In arms of another man.

If man were little more loving
He would not see his fellow being
Paining each other, killing each other.

If man were little more patient
He would not suffer pain of failure.
Even if he did
he would then heal himself fast.

If man were little more kind
He would see the beauty, the elegance
Even amongst those
Which seemed otherwise ugly.

If man were little more honest
He would never suffer the guilt, the repentance
That numbed his own mind.

If man were little more man
Man would live like a man.
