What is love, only a feeling?
Love must be unbreakable,
Like a sacred vow binding.
What is love if it does not burn?
Burn to hold dear and to bless.
To hatred and pain utterly spurn.
What is love if it will not give?
Give both comfort and warmth.
Love that inspires one to really live.
And how should love live better?
Than blessing the weak and little,
And freeing the enfettered.
And what better tests love than death?
For love lives and dies for others.
Loving with a passion until the last breath.
And even when the life is gone,
If one is willing to say 'Always'
The light of that love will shine on.
