If Lives Were Two Poem by Micheal King

If Lives Were Two

If lives were two
My illusions, even those lies I'd make true.
If lives were two,
I'd live this life without care,
Cos I know I've got another to spare.

All lies I'd make true,
I wouldn't wake up each day
Praying to live a hundred years.
This one I'll live joyfully too,
And my days will be free from all fears.
And if only mine heart won't wear,
I'll do all I want, and all consequences
I'll bear.

Crazy things I'll do,
But not in the next one too.
Spend it all loving you,
Waiting to continue this love story
In the next life too.
Only if lives were two,
It would be you too.
