If It Had Been You Poem by Babalola Jubril

If It Had Been You

Rating: 5.0

That would blow the trumpet,
When the sun rise,
Beat the drum yourself,
Play the piano,
With your hand,
And your soul will dance freely,

But you appeared on the outside,
With that old fashion shoes,
Your old jacket piercing your jacket,
Your old tricky game of yours,
You play with everybody,

Only If it had been you,
That will open the door,
To my world of special creatures,
Dwell in my home forever,

Sleep in my nest,
Lay my eggs abundantly,
Give them to me in peace,
Be Our mother hen,
I will be the happist man on earth,
If it had been you,
That will give me my chicks
I will rise in the wind,
Dance to one million tunes,

If it had been you,
That will lie in my bed,
Breathe Bouyantly in my Bed,
Swim Sink Sit in my saint water,
I will be your man forever.
