If I'm A Flower, You Are My Roots Poem by Tina Baaklini

If I'm A Flower, You Are My Roots

My love,

When you entered my life
You turned it upside down
My heart celebrated your coming
My soul awakened as nature in spring

You came in as a bundle of love
A love divine, found only in Heaven above
A love that pours as Niagara falls
Freshly watering my heart and soul

Our hearts have the same imprints
Of that I am convinced
Our souls have the same energy
They both exist in synergy

If I'm a flower, you are my roots
If I'm the moon, you are my sun
If I'm the earth, you are my sky
But I'm a woman, and you are my man
We dwell within one soul: our homeland
