If I Told You Poem by Paris Thulare

If I Told You

If I
told I was leaving would you believe me?
If I told you
I have no time left in me
If I told you enough enough was enough
Would you let Me go?

I can't help it to see how deep you are in thoughts
I can't help it,
to think of how are going to cry for me on that last day
When I'm laying still there,
Inside the box unknowns

If you have words I say
Spit them out and let me know,
Hours from now maybe later
Minutes from now I might meet my maker.
