If I had wings to fly like an eagle
I would've flown so high
and would've made my nest on the mountain top
There I would've reasoned with God
and would've submitted my petition
to the Holy One
I would've lifted up my wings to Him
and would've touched the robe of
His garment and pleaded with Him
I would've shed my tears on His holy altar
and would've taken my sick eaglet
and placed him on His lap
There I would've beaten my head on the altar
and would 've given my life in exchange
to my sick eaglet
Then I will rejoice in the presence of my Lord
who gave life to my precious eaglet
who's dancing now with joy as he embraces his new life
There I would've beaten my head on the altar and would 've given my life in exchange to my sick eaglet What a confession! One remembers the prayer of Moses and Paul! Thanks for sharing!
