If I Ever Forget You Poem by Susheela Alexiose

If I Ever Forget You

Rating: 5.0

How much ever I tried to ignore you
My heart still remember the love that you showered
Your wide open arms where I found rest
O my! how can I forget you

When my heart saw you
It leaped with joy
And wept in sorrow
For all the pain it endured alone

O my! how can I forget
The lips that absorbed my tears
The hands that held me tight
To console my weeping heart

If I ever forget you my love
Let me forget my own self
Though miles and seas apart
My love for you will never grow cold

O my! how can I forget The lips that absorbed my tears The hands that held me tight To console my weeping heart.. Sometimes i feel after reading your poems, that your great human love experience has made your heart so noble that you raise up yourself to God in the background of real human physical love. tony
