If Atomic Warfare ensues. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

Putin has declared time and again to
use nuclear weapon,
created deepest anguish in the world.
Has he ever calculated his own
nation's preparedness to counter
when it is burned?

History has already witnessed the
devastating effect of less powerful bombs
on Hiroshima and Nagashaki in Japan.
More numbers and many times more powerful
nuclear bombs are now
in various nation's possession.

If nuclear war happens due
to anger and foolishness of few leaders
this only planet that supports life
would be transformed to a big crematorium
in the twinkling of an eye.
Many would be permanently disabled,
the rest will suffer from incurable
diseases along with all other creatures,
sufferings and losses no body
can quantify.

Russia, China, United kingdom,
United States of America and France
are now linked to the possibility of
atomic war.
The future of our beautiful World
is dependent on their decision,
let us prayerfully hope that the clouds of the
decimating war be soon cleared,
man becoming man's enemy
must be abhorred,
invite fraternal love to
avert any war in future.
