Identity Crisis Poem by D.N. Rebb

Identity Crisis

Rating: 5.0

Why you ask?
Privacy preservation, written
Personal recognition, hidden

Why cheer now?
Transparent honesty, we can't see
Delete me with one tap, so easy

Who now cries?
A nonliterary, pedantry
Words of logical truth, so hungry

Who finds me?
The perfect disguise, out in plain site
As there's always something, left to write

How then so?
Erase me from shared memory, please
I'm begging you, really on my knees

When's it end?
Soon as I grab the pen, to re-write
A counter revolution, damn right

Bold and raw—this piece burns with quiet rebellion and lyrical secrecy. Keep writing; your voice is a revolution mid-bloom.

This is fantastic! There's something in this brilliant verse that rminds me of Dahl.
