I Write Poetry That No One Reads Because

I write poetry because no one will read it,
and here I can't say,
that I kissed it or that you held it, close to your chest as it breathes out the clouds that you see.

I write poetry because no one will read it,
and here I can't say,
that you drink lot's of milk, vanilla or chocolate, as the first amendment states that one can.

I write poetry because no one will read it,
bushes and trees with deep growing roots mean different
things, to they whom might read it too mean.

And last of all,
I write poetry because no one will read it.
Love is the root of it all, as the creek flows into streems and
streems flow into river's and they flow into oceans, didn't
that start it all?
