Sandra Martyres Yes it is important to write for ones own satisfaction..comments are just a bonus... If looked upon this way - a poet will never feel disappointed.... That is my philosophy!
Isabella Cecilia Maria I believe q poet feels the same way... It's nice to have comments but I write because I love to write- simple or not so great. They all were born from my heart.
LaSoaphia QuXazs Mar 05 Yes you are right again. However, this is always here: however, What we think should be said, because if you see those who do not talk enough - they have problems -. At least we, poets we talk out what is in our mind. And yes, we are righteous all right, and it is all right, because nobody can tell me what I can think or even say, or if I am foolish or not. Just see this this way. And I do not count myself superior, because we are all the children of the Universe and I see everybody has the right to be here. Good to hear from you. Regards.
Abdulelah Abid This issue keeps hunting me.. I found that people now a days pay more attention to people's work whom they personally know! It wasn't the case decades ago which puts unsocial poets in a great deal of being neglected and unappreciated, sadly! 5 minutes ago
Nightowl Write the way you want to, and share what you wish. There will be visitors who read and comment, but probably more who read and cannot find the words to express what your words meant to them. Silly to fret over no comments, be happy your work has been shared and appreciated. I agree with Sandra and Isabella. Blessings
