I Would Rather Suffer Painfully

I would rather suffer painfully yet be a thinking man.
But I would never be a comfortable happy man
whose brain is dead.
To me, there is no difference between human and beast;
except, human has ability to think infinite.
If I stop thinking, I immediately regress to a beast.
And believe me, I would never be a beast.
