We see the sunlit sky, the clouds are rolling in
The darkest moment of the day is wearing thin
The nightfall heralds the shift of all of the stars
May I have one last chance to forget these scars?
Subjected to life, I’m under it’s knife
Why should I be the one to lose my life?
And as we walk these roads, so desolate and dead
What maniacal thoughts shall meander in my head?
The hunger, the thirst for a reason for the beyond
Just outside of our reach, the answers abscond
Please smile for me human race, I can see you are such a disgrace
You abuse your power and control, you’ve dug yourself a hole
You might as well scour yourselves, before you damn us all
Because it’s not my fault and I won’t take your fall
What once was lost, is now destroyed
The sanity of mankind is devoid
Existence is fragile, such a brittle gift
At this rate, prepare for the downshift
Do not be so blind and ignorant to these blatant signs
The army will just brainwash you and set you up in lines
It’s time for man to stand,
Rid yourselves of this demand
Please smile for me human race, I can see you are such a disgrace
You abuse your power and control, you’ve dug yourself a hole
You might as well scour yourselves, before you damn us all
Because it’s not my fault and I won’t take your fall
