I Won't Bleed For You Poem by Shaun Cronick

I Won't Bleed For You

Rating: 5.0

I'll take the bad,
I'll take the rough.
But I won't bleed for you.

I'll accept the lies,
I'll bear all deceits.
But I won't bleed for you.

I'll hold my tongue,
I'll catch my breath.
But I won't bleed for you.

I'll close my eyes,
I'll cover my ears.
But I won't bleed for you.

I'll relent for you,
I'll refute for you.
But I won't bleed for you.

I'll give you all,
I'll offer everything.
But I won't bleed for you.

I've seen the light,
I've found the truth.
Still I won't bleed for you.

I was once chained to your side,
Constant hells you put me through.
A love blind soul finally freed,
One who never did bleed for you.

Very powerful, hard hitting poem Shaun! I really like the viceral rawness of it. It's definitely a fiercesome, fearless, fiery yet heartfelt five from me

A powerful and wonderful poem that expresses and depicts a human condition that there is always a limitation in everything. A meaningful message that propels us to gain strength and love ourselves. Beautifully crafted and conveyed. Top Marks!
