i have written an echo poem [an invention of Brian Johnston] to this. mine doesn't totally take the negative attitude this one tends to. mine is called You Woke Up...... bri :)
BRAVO! and condolances. a mutual friend put me on the trail leading to you poem, which now joins others on my growing MyPoemList. not only does this make sense (i think) , but it is very well-paced, and the rhyming is exceptional. BUT you probably already knew those things! not TOO long, nor TOO short on words. thanks for sharing. bri :)
Lora, that was a heart wrenching poem! It was excellent, very well written. I felt despair but just a bit of optimism in the form of questions at the end of the poem which was comforting. Has the last page of my life been filled? (Just maybe, the last of my tears spilled?)
