I Wish I Was Warm Poem by Phil Soar

I Wish I Was Warm

I wish that I was warm as toast
These days I am so cold the most
Blood thinning drugs have chilled my hands
I wobble when I try to stand
I shiver in the winter cold
Oh, the curse of getting old.
