Susan, I am always so delighted to be invited to walk and talk with God. And those conversations are greatly stimulated by your inspirational poems. I thank God every day for the truly meaningful friendship with you and the others in our Poem Hunter family.
At the age of 70, I feel like I'm starting over again. On the path that God had created for me. Better late than never! And your exquisite poems have made this journey so much more adventurous and rewarding. With sincerest thanks, Susan!
I am so delighted to read your beautiful comment. I know you are a delightful human being and God must be so glad to be invited to walk and talk with you on your path! !
Thank you, Richard, for making me part of your world and part of your path. You have been a great friend for a long time on PH and I thank God for the blessing of you
Wow is just about the best I can come up with for this amazing poem; I so 'get it', so understand... me too, me too. Thank you for your honest, vulnerability; we all have a need to know, to trust, that we walk this road not alone. Thank you.
Thank you, Smoky, I would like to think we are walking this road together even if we are miles and miles apart in earthly distance but side-be-side in a spiritual sense --walking with God together
That you reread it says all I need to know about its worth, LeeAnn. Thank you!
We will all share the general meaning of this poem, and this is one of the characteristics of the excellent international poems. It has two sides: the private and the general. Here we can navigate the pure depths of a poet with a lively conscience and who wants good for all.
Thank you for your comments. Soran, They help because it is obvious you think and meditate on what you read. I cannot thank you enough for you input, my friend
choose another way to travel it would have made all the difference, I think
Again and again I wish I could start over All over again I'm so broken and exhausted carrying all these regrets with me everywhere I go.
A beautiful poem on life so honestly presented and conveyed. To my Poem List.
We all committed mistakes in our life's journey. The only difference is the gravity of what we have done. Yet a mistake can never be undone. A cycle of mistakes, however, will tear us down.
Rose Marie, you have one of the most understanding hearts on this site--Bod has blessed us with your presence here, my friend
A very touching and moving poem. A lot of us could relate to this heartfelt poem. It resonates with me.
Dear friend Susan, this is your newest poem and it is over a month old! I really miss you! Please come back and share some new poems with us!
I am trying to block out time for my beautiful friends at Ph and especially my fellow cowboy---I miss you and your iconic pen, my good friend
Cowboy Ron--I apologize for deserting my good friends--I was and am immersed in the series of novels but I am writing but I find now that I miss reading my friends' poetryneed
One step at a time, one day at a time.... Definite 5 Stars! ..+++++ On an ever so heart moving poem! .. God bless! ..
I agree with Linda Bella if this isn't a poem of imagination, Jesus's arms are filled with such compassion, and a heart of forgiveness, let him take you by the hand and guide! .. Though I believe this your heart already knows....
Past will remain, present is with us and future is unknown so live the moment and enjoy.5****
We are bundle of mistakes. We all have regrets and wish to erase and start all over again yet nothing can be done of past....
(2) If it is true, just get back up and start over again. It's never too late to change. Jesus said: 'Come unto me'. That is the answer.
Dear Susan, I hope that this is a product of your imagination and not your real life. Well written and five stars!
By readiung your poem, we all learn a very lot, who has no regrets? We all have, but they seldom confess that! You are a very honest person and that makes your life be a happy one
Remarkable. This is a most private journey that each on of us, I suspect, shares with everyone else. A magnificent poem, Susan
Thank you M.J. for how sympathetically you read my and others' poetry--you give good guidance, my friend
