I wish for you-
Stars in your eyes
And dreams in your heart.
I wish for you
Happiness, right from the start.

I wish for you
A hand to hold
On the darkest night.
I wish for you
A guiding light.

I wish for you
To see a sunrise,
The time to dance,
I wish for you
A second chance.

I wish for you
To spread your wings-
And soar!
I wish for you
An open door.

I wish for you
To stand beside the ocean
And feel small.
I wish for someone
To catch you when you fall.

I wish for you
Healing tears,
To ease the pain.
I wish for you
To hope again.

I wish for you
A friend to dry your tears
To make you laugh.
I wish for you
Someone to cheer your path.

I wish for you
To see the stars,
Take a moonlit walk.
I wish for you
To call a friend and talk.

I wish for you,
When things are dark,
A faith in God.

Heaven beyond the sod.
