I wish to sit beneath the arms of a maple tree, 
And watch its autumn leaves depart their twigs, 
I wish to inhale their smell and breathe their lapsing life, 
And brush their dry facade against my skin...
I wish to taste the rain before it embraces the turf, 
And feel its drops flow down my cheeks, 
I want it to take my tears along with it's self, 
And I want the rain to make me feel...
I wish to watch the rays of the rising sun, 
And be amazed as myriad hues colour the sky, 
I wish to feel its first rays landing on my face, 
As its light radiates hope far and wide...
I wish to run along the shores of the sea, 
And let the saline waters wash my feet, 
I wish to play with the waves and dance around, 
As those waters go and come to me...
I wish to fly like the wind and touch the highest peaks, 
And breathe in as much of life as I can, 
I wish to shout and hear the wind repeat my words, 
As it blows far across many lands...
I wish to watch and feel every aspect of life, 
And hear the faintest whispers that it tells, 
I wish to smell the sweetest scents of its wild blossoms, 
I wish to taste purity of the heart, 
And I wish to live...
