I Will Shield You
Through dust and ashes
Snow and coldest rains
We have tarried
Yet my love for you remains.
Despite the darkest dread
And the veiling of the moon
Rest in peace and know
That I love you through the blackest doom.
Through fire and storm
And the steel hail of sorrow
Through thickets of thorns
Let us hope in a new tomorrow!
This weary road
Is only a path we all must endure
Love what is lovely
And seek what is pure.
And remember that I love you
Despite all terror and fear
Hide in my shadow
I will shield you and keep you near.
So beautifully expressed of how the heart loves! .. Deeper than the oceans and greater than the distance of the stars above! .. A Million 10'S And Stars! .. And Then More! ..+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
