I Wear A Covid Mask Poem by Randy McClave

I Wear A Covid Mask

Yes, I wear a COVID mask upon my face
But, I do not wear it in hate or disgrace,
I wear it because I care, and when I say my prayer
I still pray for God's protection and grace.

My faith is always in God
We, and not him are the ones that are flawed,
I will not lie, I don't want anyone to get a virus and die
I know when I wear my mask he does applaud.

I always wear my seatbelts to stay protected
And I wear my glasses to see what is projected,
I take a flu vaccine, I take vitamins and protein
My soul will not ever be effected.

I don't care what the doubters believe or say
I'm not being conditioned or changing my DNA,
God knows our soul, when we are young and old
So, unto God I still continuously pray..

In Gods words and glory someday I will bask
I will do whatever he does command or ask,
I want my family and myself to live, I want to help and give
So yes, I will wear a COVID mask.
