I Watched The Stars
I watched the stars last night
Up in the sky, shining bright
No clouds spoilt the deep dark blue
I watched the stars and thought of you
Then in the blimking of an eye
A comet flew across the sky
The trail it left behind was bright
As the comet vanished out of sight
And deep outside the atmosphere
Beyond our home, this earthly sphere
The magic of the universe
The stars will shine until they disperse
