I Was There Poem by Rue Palmer

I Was There

Whispers soft through branches sway, A symphony at end of day.Green leaves dance, a gentle choir, As evening winds their song inspire.Beneath the sky, the treetops bend, In rhythm with the twilight's blend.Their rustling secrets, old and wise, Murmured under moonlit skies.Roots deep in earth, unshaken, strong, Trunks that hum a timeless song.In the wind, their stories twine, Nature's prose, both yours and mine.Shadows flicker, branches weave, A tapestry by night's reprieve.Trees in wind, a tranquil sight, Guardians of the silent night.
Whispers soft through branches sway,
A symphony at end of day.
Green leaves dance, a gentle choir,
As evening winds their song inspire.
Beneath the sky, the treetops bend,
In rhythm with the twilight's blend.
Their rustling secrets, old and wise,
Murmured under moonlit skies.
Roots deep in earth, unshaken, strong,
Trunks that hum a timeless song.
In the wind, their stories twine,
Nature's prose, both yours and mine.
Shadows flicker, branches weave,
A tapestry by night's reprieve.
Trees in wind, a tranquil sight,
Guardians of the silent night.
