A meaningful, deeply poignant and touching poem. My heart always goes to every soldier who sacrifices his life for his country. He might be able to kill his enemy in times of war but his act is in accordance with the chain of command.
A very heart touching poem.But feeling sorry and apologetic for having killed the innocents is the essence of your brilliant poem.

I concur with the Poet's thoughts expressed in the ultimate stanza that war only brings destruction. Yes, war must be abhorred in all its forms. Top Marks!
