Certain things cannot be or be changed in reality: we were all born by two and only two. We may take other people as our parents and we their children bcos of certain ties but in the depth of reality, we are not and they are not. If I were you whenever they call me daughter in law I will only listen to the daughter and close my ears on the in law and stop the complaints. I also believe that in marriage the woman should deserve to have her freedom, it's actually between her and the husband and no one, not even her spiritual leaders should control certain aspects of her marital life.
