I Want Only You (Sonnet) Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

I Want Only You (Sonnet)

Oh my love! you tied me with no thread;
From you I could never walk far away.
One day I came only for love and bread;
I wanted to have your care every day.

Day after day we would talk over phone
And share together joy and happiness.
Those are now memories and I feel lone.
Why do you stay away from me for days?

I feel so sad as you do not love me;
You are in love with poetry and rhyme
And I am chained only with destiny.
Listen to me, I want you all the time.

Without you I feel helpless on this earth.
I want to get back just you, my sweetheart.
