I Want Love Poem by Angela Bontle Ditumiso

I Want Love

I want love
The kind that wrings you so tightly,
sadness leaves
I want love
The kind that will roam my hollow casing,
deposit memories everywhere it passes
The kind that will leave me complete
then maybe for the first time ever,
I wouldn't leave my house
but it wouldn't be because I'm gnawed by depression
No, it'll be because I'm so full, all I want to do is,
bask in it
