I want the world I want the whole world I want to lock it All up in my pocket ~ very interesting lines... a delight to read... Being aware of one’s selfhood and being self-centred is a sweet sign of growth that most of us are unwilling to grow out of... “ milk for children, honey for adults” :)

This poem carries eagerness, effort, joy and the moment of feelings. This is an amazing poem for kids but very interesting.
You have enjoyed this poem and I have also enjoyed this poem a lot. This is a lovely poem.
Impressive kids poem. Seems simple, but brilliantly created. Congratulations for the family of Roald Dahl to be chosen by Poemhunter.com as The Modern Poem Of The Day. I have enjoyed very much.

I love the way Dahl can write his poetry like it were for the kids and yet he is communicating to the adults too. Milk for the babies and honey for adults.
