I wandered deep within,
a country of my own—
the true God's Kingdom.
Safe, I walked its silent lands,
smiling, calm, and whole.
I closed my dreaming eyes,
opened them to light,
let the waking sun arise.
If only I were wise—
to stay inside these walls,
never find the door
where old expectations call.
From all deviant winds,
I stand apart, aloof.
Safe.
Satisfied.
Calm.
Utterly free.
Here I stand, unmoved,
on my own enduring feet—
independent,
untouched,
complete,
as I was born to be.
