While crystal clouds cross a silver moon
While swans fly home late afternoon
While bees weave through the lavenders bloom
I wait for you….
As nature changes gold to green
As grey seas turn aquamarine
As winter frosts leave icy sheen
I wait for you….
When chill winds sing their murmurous song
When summers coming is too long
Till you are home where you belong
I wait for you….
Twelve lines, three stanza's but one welcoming oasis of calm and soothing. A beautifully woven poem Lodigiana. So lovingly expressed it stands alone for those alone, it's almost like a private, personal inner vow. Another absorbing gem of a poem Lodigiana.10++ and added to my eternal patience inner sanctum. Take care Lodigiana and I wish you the best this life has to offer. Shaun x.
Thank you so much Shaun for your lovely words which are always so inspirational. Sorry for the tardy response but the last week has been pretty chaotic with a family member deciding to get herself hospitalised! ..all ok though thankfully. Stay well and safe and, more importantly, happy my friend x
A wonderful write of being patient despite love has gone? ........beautifully penned.
Thank you so much Tom for your lovely words...In what can often be a hard, unfeeling world I wanted to just bring a gentleness into it..really appreciate your reading it. Lodigiana x
