I've Found An Expression

I've found an expression of application
When it comes to thinking about my God
It is...thank you...thank you...thank you Father
For delivering me from where once I stood
And giving me a standing and a favor
My God... how great Thou art
Who can take the vilest nature of fallen man
And give him a loving heart

My spirit knows the joy of your presence
I've felt such a peace within
I know now for sure just what forgiveness means
For I know the forgiveness of my sin
And constant is your Spirit in reminding me
You have gotten now please freely give
Tell another soul of your soul's liberty
And how that they can truly live

I've found my satisfaction in Jesus
Who satisfied the demands for my sin
He went to the Cross willingly on my behalf
Taking the wrath I deserved upon Him
Love stretched forth His arms in welcoming fashion
His voice told every sinner...come!
The thief on the Cross knew that day deliverance
When He believed on Jesus God's only begotten Son

May the glory of the Cross be your affection
Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there
Initiate some faith in your heart today
Begin your sins unravelling with an attitude of prayer
God be merciful to me a sinner
I come for need of cleansing and a purifying of my heart
Here I am O Lord today in your presence
Ready for the transformation to start!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
