I've Caught A Cold Poem by Gary James Smith

I've Caught A Cold

Rating: 5.0

I've Caught A Cold

I've caught a cold that I wasn't even chasing
And it's done a number on me
Its cost me a box of Kleenex so far
And a trip to the pharmacy

It's not something to sneeze at
But I've already broken that rule
Oh oh here it comes again
Cachoo...cachoo...cachoo!

My sister said I should do something about it
I said I'm trying to give it away
So far though I haven't had any offers
Because of the distance everyone stays

So I guess I'll just have to hang on to it
Until it dissipates
Hoping I don't have to cough up more money
I'm going home to isolate...
